Red Velvet is the new Black
I’ve loved me some red velvet cake since I was a kid, but then I was raised in the South so what’s new. It was my step-dad’s favorite cake and every August 19th for his birthday his mom (Memaw - as we grandkids called her) made a delicious red velvet cake. Slowly red velvet cupcakes have taken over, then Yogurtland began offering red velvet cupcake batter yogurt (it’s amazing) and then I saw this. Red velvet pancakes. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus (as we say in the South). There is a God. And Memaw will happily learn this recipe.
